Bolca and the Fossils

The Italian Vittoriale is a complex of buildings, streets, squares, a theater, gardens and waterways built between 1921 and 1938, in Gardone Riviera on the shores of Lake Garda by Gabriele d’Annunzio and the architect Giancarlo Maroni, in memory of the “inimitable life” of the poet-soldier and ventures of Italians during the First World War.
At 102 kilometers from the Villa, it is an amazing place, the result of the genius of D’Annunzio .. little known but absolutely worth a visit.
From Malcesine, located in the river east of the Garda Lake 115 kilometers far from the Villa, you can reach, with a convenient cableway the Monte Baldo.
