The Garda Lake and its territory offer a world apart, a world of many things: sport, gastronomy, spas, and landscapes of indescribable beauty.
Among the many things that the lake can offer these are our suggestions
First on the list because it has a unique charm. It is a small promontory and a peninsula jutting out over the water, surrounded by cypress trees and dominated by a splendid Renaissance Villa. In the village built on the peak there is a small harbor and an ancient lemon field. A real piece of paradiso..We recommend going to have a drink at sunset, in the bar on the marina.
At 60 kilometers from the Villa.
Torbole and the water sports
Renowned throughout Italy, Torbole is located in the northern part of the Garda Lake, 100 kilometers far from the Villa. The wind, absolute protagonist of this charming lakeside village, seems to never miss, so the place is great for all sports such as sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing.
Sirmione and the Baths
Sirmione is famous since ancient times for its generous thermal waters, stretches on a thin peninsula that juts into Lake Garda for about 4 km. It’s one of the most characteristic place on the lake, where you can enjoy the splendid panorama of the two banks: since Roman times there were some villas, including that of the poet Catullus, who in his verses sang the beauty of these places.
58 kilometers far from Villa Maffei Rizzardi
Il Vittoriale degli Italiani
The Italian Vittoriale is a complex of buildings, streets, squares, a theater, gardens and waterways built between 1921 and 1938, in Gardone Riviera on the shores of Lake Garda by Gabriele d'Annunzio and the architect Giancarlo Maroni, in memory of the "inimitable life" of the poet-soldier and ventures of Italians during the First World War.
At 102 kilometers from Musella, it is an amazing place, the result of the genius of D'Annunzio .. little known but absolutely worth a visit.
From Malcesine, located in the river east of the Garda Lake 115 kilometers far from the Villa, you can reach, with a convenient cableway the Monte Baldo.
The view of the entire lake from the top of the mountain is something truly unique, a must try. On the mountain are possible walks, cycling and paragliding. There are also huts where you can eat.
